Scholarship requirements

• Seniors carrying a minimum 3.0 GPA

• Completed Scholarship Application

• An essay explaining how the applicant’s involvement in community activities have enriched not only their own lives, but also the lives of those in their community.

• The Essay should be 150 to 250 words in length

• Submit one paragraph explaining financial need

• A list of school, church, and community involvement(s)

• A list of awards and/or honors received

• Two (2) letters of recommendation from teachers/staff members at your school or community.

• Good quality photo suitable for reprint

• Current High School Transcript

Applicants must submit all items listed above. Any application that is incomplete will not be considered for the scholarship.

Applicant requirements

• Current Westville, LaPorte, Marquette and Michigan City High School, senior (One scholarship will be awarded to a senior from each school)

• Seniors anticipating completion of a high school diploma

• Seniors who plan to pursue a degree at an accredited 2-year or 4-year college, university, or tech school
