William Bennington

William R. Bennington, 78, of Valparaiso, IN, formerly of West Virginia, passed away on Sept 6, 2025.

He was known for his love of the outdoors and great story telling. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Brenda, who preceded him in death. He proudly served in the Navy from 1966 to 1972.

Bill is survived by his 3 children: Misty Richart, Ryan (Sharon) Bennington, and Stacy (Kenny) Dudley. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and 2 grandchildren, Johnnie Richart and Bradley Bennington.

Bill will be laid to rest next to his wife in a private family ceremony in West Virginia.
