Tara Pegues

Tara D. Pegues departed this life on February 26, 2022 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Funeral services will be noon, Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Emmanuel Funeral Chapel 3025 East Michigan Blvd, Trail Creek, Indiana with Rev. James Lane to give the eulogy. Viewing will be 11am Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Emmanuel Funeral Chapel.

Tara D. Pegues was born March 29, 1980, in Chicago, Illinois to Harvey Pegues and Cynthia Evans.

She attended Dundee Crown High school in Carpentersville, Illinois, class of 1998. Tara was a CNA, home healthcare provider and a janitor.

In 1999, Tara moved to Michigan City, Indiana and she later relocated to Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2017.

She loved her children dearly, spending time with her family and doing her hair.

She leaves to mourn her memories, five beautiful children, Zariah Pegues, Jessica Pegues, Briana Jordan, Ira Pegues and Asia Pegues all of Michigan City, Indiana; her beloved mother, Cynthia Evans of Michigan City, Indiana; four loving brothers, Andre (Veronica) Evans, Chicago, Illinois, Brandon Pegues and Bryce Pegues and De’Andre Pegues all of South Bend, Indiana; two grandchildren, Christopher Vortice, Jr. and Aniyla Pegues-Saine both of Michigan City, Indiana and a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Pegues.
