Rev. Walker was a man of many interests, known for his remarkable memory and his love for reminiscing about days gone by. His family would often marvel at how "he had a brain like an elephant," never forgetting a single tale from the past. A simple phone call from him would always start with a fond "Do you remember when..." which would lead to laughter and shared memories. Known affectionately as "Doctor" and his brothers of ten called him "Dog". Rev. Walker was indeed a unique soul. To know him was to know a man like no other – the one and only Rev. E. D. Walker.
Spirited is the word that captures the essence of Rev. Walker's being. His spirit, now free from earthly bounds, continues to inspire and guide those who were blessed to know him. Let us not dwell in sorrow but celebrate the life of a man who walked among us as a testament to God's love.
