Quamayne Simmons

Quamayne Simmons, the man who could turn any frown upside down, took his final bow on September 10, 2023. He was born in Rockford, IL on August 1, 1989, to Maurice Simmons and Regina (Poe) Simmons.

Quamayne loved hanging out with his family and friends. His idea of a perfect day was a backyard barbecue, surrounded by the people he loved, cracking jokes, and creating memories. He was the life of every party, the friend everyone wanted to have, and the family member everyone looked forward to seeing at gatherings.

 Quamayne was always up for a new adventure, whether it was a road trip to an unknown destination or trying out a new recipe for his famous barbecue ribs.

Quamayne passed away in Michigan City, IN, after a brave battle with cancer. His legacy of laughter, friendship, and adventure will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Quamayne Simmons, and you will be deeply missed.
