Mr. Terry Kelly

Mr. Terry Kelly passed away at 11:31PM on June 21, 2022 at Franciscan Health of Michigan City.

Funeral services will be 11AM, Friday, July 1, 2022 at Life Temple Church of God in Christ with Pastor Terry O'Neal to give the eulogy. Burial will take place at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Viewing will be 10AM, Friday, July 1, 2022 at Life Temple Church of God in Christ until the time of service. Per the Family's request: Facial Masks are required to be worn.

Terry Kelly was born June 17, 1963 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Elder Rogers Kelly and Mother Lula Mae (Ferrell) Kelly.

Terry and Catherine (Peals) married August 18, 2001 to their union was born one child Kyra Telice Kelly.

He was a member of Zion Temple Church Of God In Christ. He graduated from Rogers High School in Michigan City Indiana. He was Employed at Allied Security.

Among Terry’s favorite hobbies were fishing, singing and football. His favorite football team was Notre Dame. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and playing games. He looked forward to the daily morning cups of coffee with loved ones. He loved to tell jokes which made everyone laugh. He was just a loving teddy bear who pretended to be tuff. He was very affectionate and would help anyone. His favorite word was (heifer) which he used a lot. He was a loving father, brother, and uncle who adored his daughter. 

Terry leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Catherine (Peals) Kelly and daughter, Kyra Telice Kelly of Michigan City, Indiana; four sisters, Linda Hodges of Emory Texas, Mary Redlinger, and Tressie Briggs both of Michigan City, Indiana, and Ramona Gilkie of Indianapolis, Indiana; three brothers, Glen Kelly and Jerome (Kashia) Kelly both of Michigan City, Indiana and David Kelly of Texas and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elder Rogers and Mother Lula Mae Kelly; one brother AL Kelly; four nephews, Myron Jenkins, Damarius Kelly, Delano Kelly, and Clinton (CJ) Gilkie.

Terry was loved by everyone.
