It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Keith Michael Burgess, born on April 10, 1991, who left this world on March 10, 2025, at the young age of 33. Keith was a gentle soul, known for his quiet and shy demeanor, yet he possessed a heart full of love for his family, friends, and the creatures that shared his life.
From his earliest days, Keith had a special bond with animals, particularly his beloved pig, Pork-Chop, and later, his cherished dog, Isis. These companions were more than pets; they were a source of joy and comfort in his life. As a child, Keith found solace in nature, reveling in outdoor activities such as camping and fishing, and delighting in the thrill of playing baseball with friends.
Though he did not have children of his own, Keith was a devoted uncle, showering his nieces and nephews with affection and pride. His love for family was unwavering, and he exemplified the role of a caring and supportive sibling. He is survived by his four devastated siblings, Samantha Garner, Leon, Louis, and Isaac Burgess, as well as his beloved Grandma Lovel McFadden.
Keith worked tirelessly in construction and roofing, showcasing the same dedication and commitment he displayed in all aspects of his life. His passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Burgess, and his nephew, Justin Garner, both losses that weighed heavily on his spirit.
As we remember Keith, we celebrate a gentle man whose kindness and love touched many lives. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter he inspired, and the love he so freely gave.
Rest in peace, dear Keith. You will be greatly missed.
Mr. Burgess will have a viewing from 3:00pm to 5:00pm Monday, March 17, 2025 at Emmanuel Funeral Home-Trail Creek.
