Glenn Ervin Miller, was born on June 12, 1958, in Gary, Indiana. He embarked on his final journey, passing away in his hometown of Gary on October 11, 2025.
Born to the late Boston and Susie Miller, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Melvin, Derrick, and Vincent Miller, as well as his extended siblings, Anita Miller and Nigel Rosborough.
Glenn's legacy is carried forward by his devoted sisters, Vanessa Williams of Phoenix, AZ, Cherie McDowell of Illinois, and Regina Rosborough of Gary, IN. Each of them holds precious memories of a brother whose love knew no bounds. A special bond was shared with his nephew, Anton Redmon, who will forever cherish the moments spent with his uncle. Glenn's spirit will continue to live on through the lives of his nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and the many friends from the neighborhood who were touched by his kindness.
A proud graduate of West Side High School, Glenn's commitment to his community was evident from his youth. His dedication to service led him to enlist in the United States Marine Corps, where he served his country. Upon returning to civilian life, he applied the same discipline and work ethic to the construction and roofing field, where he was known for his reliability and craftsmanship.
Glenn was an avid sports enthusiast, Glenn's allegiance to the Chicago Cubs was unwavering. He was often referred to as the world's biggest Cubs fan, a title he bore with pride regardless of the team's fortunes.
A celebration of life will be held at 11am Saturday, October 25th, 2025 at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church 2325 W 21st Ave Gary, IN 46404 with a Visitation from 9am to 11am Saturday, October 25, 2025 at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
