Eric R. Wesley

Eric R. Wesley, 41, departed this life at 6:17pm on February 10, 2022 at Community East Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Funeral services will be 12pm, Saturday, February 19, 2022 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Jacarra Williams to give the eulogy. Viewing be 11am-12pm, Saturday, February 19, 2022 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

Eric R. Wesley was born February 4, 1981 in Michigan City, Indiana to Derrick and Rosalyn Wesley.
 
He attended school in the Michigan City Area Schools System. He later received his GED in 2007.
He then went to work at Weil McClain as fork lift driver.
 
Eric then moved to Indianapolis, Indiana in 2001.  He was employed at Pepsi Cola. 
 
His favorite sports were baseball and football. Eric loved being with his children and loved laughing with family and friends.
 

He leaves to cherish loving memories: his children, Ethan Wesley, Jerricka Wilson-Wesley, Eddie Mentv, all of Indianapolis, Indiana; and Taelyn Benford of Savannah, Georgia; his parents, Derrick and Rosalyn Wesley of Michigan City, Indiana; one sister, Shontina Wesley of Indianapolis, Indiana; one brother, Brandon Harmon of Chicago, Illinois; grandparents, Betty J. White and Neal (Ester) Davis, all of Michigan City, Indiana; godfather, John Peterson of Michigan City, Indiana; three nieces, Toni Edwards and Tayia Edwards both of Indianapolis, Indiana, Tiffany Edwards of Louisville, Kentucky and one nephew, Eric McVay of Indianapolis, Indiana; aunts, Sherry Wesley, Tina (Mark) Rice both of Indianapolis, Indiana, Felice Simmons of Fort Wort, Texas, Terry Olds of and Marcia Hampton both of Michigan City, Indiana; uncles, Charles (Kathy) Hampton and, Leonard Hampton both of Michigan City, Indiana, Tony (Stephanie) Davis of Nashville, Tennessee, Michael Davis, Dewayne Davis, Cornell Davis, and Robert Sims all of Michigan City, Indiana; special friends, Shadava Freeman, Tyra Wilson, both of Indianapolis, Indiana, Lacale Matthews of Savannah, Georgia and Eddie Kane of Michigan City, Indiana and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.  


He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Baby Ruth Hampton, Henry Wade Hampton and Alfonso White, Jr.; two aunts, Alma Moore and Shirley Sims; two uncles, James Hampton and Donnell Hampton.

Eric will be fondly remembered.
