Ebony Rene Burton was born March 16, 1990, in St. Joseph, Michigan to Sonja Williams (Yarber), and Ernest Antonio Burton I.
She moved to Indianapolis, Indiana from Kalamazoo, Michigan with her mother and two siblings, Stacey McCoy, and Ernest Antonio Burton II.
Ebony made her transition on March 15, 2022, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Ebony was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Jerome Jake Looney, Ernest Clark, Dwight Yarber, Pop Clark, Muzz Clark, and her uncles, Ronnie Fly, Chester Fly, and her favorite Aunt Paulette Williams.
Ebony was the sweetest person, but she could also be a force to be reckoned with. She loved her sisters and brothers to no end. Her contagious smile and her goofy laugh will be missed by all that loved her. Ebony enjoyed writing and reading.
Ebony leaves behind a legacy of family: including one son,Ronald age 12, two daughters, Scarlett age 7, Amara age 2; parents, Sonja (Revat) Yarber of Indianapolis, Indiana and Ernest Antonio Burton I of Atlanta, Georgia; two sisters, Stacey McCoy (her pooh bear) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Essence Burton of Jacksonville, Florida; two brothers, Ernest Antonio Burton II(her boo) of Texas, and Zy'kaire Yarber (her tinkin) of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandparents, Genevivie Looney of Benton Harbor, Michigan, Clementine Yarber of Michigan City, Indiana, Ozell Burton of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
