Creathal Horton was born February 28, 1980, in Gary, Indiana to Bishop William H. Scott Sr., and Diane Williams. On August 17, 2018, in Anoka, Minnesota, she married, Ricardo Horton.

She attended the Gary Public Schools. Creathal enjoyed dancing, being with her family, making people laugh and having a great time. She was a member of the biker’s club. Her favorite color was purple.

Creathal Horton departed this life on February 24, 2022, in Fridley, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her father, Bishop William H. Scott and sister, Tanesha Robinson; brother, John Archie; grandparents, Mildred Creathal Scott and Bishop David Scott and Lillie B. Williams and Lem Williams; brother-in-law, Robert Horton.

She is survived by her husband, Ricardo Horton; mother, Diane (Rodney) Robinson; two daughters, Tiaunna Scott and Deseray Brown; one son, Jaelynn Barnes; grandkids, Byron Berry Jr., Tyron Berry, Kyriee Berry and Ma’Leak Brown; siblings, David A. Williams, Eric T. Williams, William H. Scott, Jr. Lillian S. Scott, Charles H. N. Scott, Darius Robinson, Roderick Robinson, Kanesha Robinson, Joan Jones and TeLisa L. Archie, Kenneth Scott, Marcus Archie; bonus mother, Telisa M. Scott; mother-in-law, Laurentha Arnold; brother-in-law, Angelo Arnold; sisters-in-law, Syretta Horton and Linda Browder and a host of relatives and friends.
