Cora Lee (Jones) Tillman

Cora Lee Tillman was born December 23, 1936, in Marks, Mississippi to the late Neal Boyd and Mary Sanders.

A memorial celebration will be noon, Thursday, July 1, 2021 at New Creation Vineyard Fellowship Church.

Mrs. Tillman obtained her education from Marks School System.

In 1955, Mrs. Tillman came to Michigan City, Indiana. She married Wilton Leroy Tillman, he preceded her in death in 1988.

Mother Tillman accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She was a member of Temple Worship Center.

She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and decorating her home.

Mother Cora Lee Tillman made her heavenly transition on June 16, 2021. She was preceded in death by, one brother, Louis Boyd; one granddaughter, Theresa Davis; bonus grandson, Justin Garner.

Mrs. Tillman leaves to cherish her fond memories to seven children, Herbert L. (Minnie) Tillman, Mary (Vachel) Liggins, Delores Tillman, Brenda J. Tillman, Cardell Tillman, Patricia (Keenan Sr.) Garner and Tina (Dennis) Orr all of Michigan City, Indiana; one brother, Thad (Shautilly) Boyd, Marks, Mississippi; two special daughters, Jackie Byrd and Marie Farmer; special friends, Laura Smallwood, Betty Blackmon, Denise Robinson and Oprie Williams; eighteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
